Air taxis are often scheduled to run not more than 500 mile which makes them model for short commuter hops. At the moment, the services are doing well in the US market where there are fewer airports to carry around 100 million people in a year. The larger influx of the travelers are causing delays and cancellations leaving the potentials ones to fume. If such service is not out there, then people will not fly anymore as lots of travelers wish for the flair of air taxis and rather love to drive in place of fly. Air taxis are doing well at the moment as it is saving a good amount of time.
