Compulsive Eating Disorder- An Overview
A person is said to suffer from compulsive eating disorder eating he eats uncontrollably due to some guilt or shame. It doesn't involve any purging like bulimia but it results in too much weight gain. In other cases, some people may stop eating food normally and eat very less or leave major parts of their meal while eating.
The warning signs of compulsive eating disorder are binge eating, purging, using laxatives, depression, mood swings and alike. In overeating compulsive disorder, a person may be at the risk of complications like nausea, weight gain, hypertension, diabetes, fatigue and high blood pressure.
