Living here in Ohio there are plently of weather-related issues to be cautious of:  tornadoes, flooding, lightning, and snowstorms.  However, I never thought I’d see the day when we got hit by a Hurricane….yes, I said hurricane!  Hurricane Ike sent us 70mph winds that blew down trees and powerlines, warping our town back to the 1890’s….we’ve been playing boardgames by candlelight….no tv or ps3 action here.  The neighbors haven’t been able to blend smoothies or use their neutrogena microdermabrasion system ….I have to confess for the first day or so it was kind of fun, like camping without the tent or bugs, but three days in, I’m ready to have the juice turned back on!
