Prognosis For Pancreatic Tumors.
The general prognosis for pancreatic cancer is usually not a good one. 99 percent of all people who are diagnosed with pancreatic tumors usually die within five years of being diagnosed. The prognosis will all depend on the information from the tests and physical exams that the doctor performed and it will depend on how far the pancreatic cancer has spread into the other parts of the body. If the cancer is in the first stage, then the prognosis has a pretty good outlook and there is a fighting chance but the prognosis will not be very good at all if it is in the last stage.
