I havent been able to exercise for a while because of all the homework and places i have to go. I have been eating healthier, but i need to know what exercises would be the fastest/better exercises to loose my extra weight.

Cardiovascular workouts, i.e. walking, stair stepper, running. Anything that keeps your body moving. Perhaps you could join a basketball league or some other organized sport.

Walking in my opinion. Added with Pilates great results. If your eating right, your already on your way :) Pilates are usually small sessions, try to squeeze a 20 min workout in the morning, 5 days a week.

all around require a balanced exercise for the whole body. You can’t do everything in one session. Alternate days where you do upper body on one day and lower body on the other. Also alternate between jogging and lower body machine excersice so you don’t get into a boaring routine. Good gyms seperate machines for upper and lower body in different areas. Good luck.

If you can’t run (which is absolutely the best for all over toning), then get yourself a rowing machine. Twenty to thirty minutes on that every other day is more than enough to get in shape. And it is one of the only machines that exercises all your muscle groups at once.

Webballs has it……simply “cardio”…something that gets the blood flowing. My personal opinion is, if you are not sweating, you are wasting your time at weight loss. Factors to consider are: What are your limitations to exertion? such as diasabilities, age, current weight, medical, conditioning, etc. As to what you want to be doing to sweat: some run, jog, jump rope, box/spar, dance, etc. Definately consider proper equipment (shoes, weights, etc.) and techniques as to avoid injury. I recently started running the treadmill after yrs w/o running. I’m telling you I spent quite some time picking shoes that would limit the impact to my aging body. LOL
