My grandmother is almost 90 years old and she suffers from hearing loss. She has trouble hearing higher-pitched sounds so we bought her a pair of high frequency hearing aids. These hearing aids are specifically designed to boost the volume of higher-pitched sounds like female voices and television programs. They have worked particularly well for her. Without her hearing aids, my grandmother can not hear female voices, but with the high frequency hearing aid she has better hearing comprehension.
