Low Blood Pressure Discussed
The condition of hypotension, or Low Blood Pressure could be attributed to several factors. One is genetics, which could dictate how efficiently the heart pumps blood. Physical conditioning is another factor. Athletes who get a lot of aerobic exercise typically have low blood pressure measurements compare to the general population as their circulatory system is often more efficient. Blood viscosity is another factor, with blood thinning agents often resulting in a low blood pressure. Hypotension is often confused with hypertension, a condition where one has high blood pressure, due to similar sounding names.
