The scooters are designed to fulfill different needs of people with mobility problems and are manufactured according to standards and specifications in the United States.  Shoprider scooters come in three-wheeled and four-wheeled models. The three-wheeled model has a 37-inch turning radius while the four-wheeled type has a 50-inch radius. Both models feature rear and side reflectors, specially reinforced bumper, a detachable basket, turn signals, horn and hazard lights.
