Shingles Can Produce Severe Pain

Blisters can develop along the areas supplied by a particular nerve.  Its trail generally goes along one nerve.  What happens eventually is that the blisters develop a crust after they dry up and drop off.  The healing process of the condition can last for about four weeks.

shingles can cause pain that feels like that associated with a heart attack, kidney stones, and appendicitis.  It just depends on where the particular nerve is found.  The main development which becomes the recognizable sign of the disease is the rash.  Sometimes the pain can be stopped by steroids.  Over the counter pain relievers are used to stop minimal pain.
