The Lifesource Line of Monitors

Whichever lifesource blood pressure monitor you choose, it is important to take the device to your doctor before using it for the first time and have them check its accuracy against the office monitor.  You can also ask your doctor to watch you use your monitor the first time to make sure you are doing it correctly.  You should measure your blood pressure at least twice a day, more if your doctor has instructed you to do so.  Once in the morning before taking any prescribed medication, and once in the evening, usually both should be done at the same time each day.  Your blood pressure is usually highest in the morning right after you wake, so wait an hour or so before taking it.
