Why Do I Flake Out??
When determining what to do about treating dandruff, let’s start by accepting that to experience some minor flaking is perfectly normal, since skin constantly dies and regenerates. Those dead skin cells will tend to end up coming off at some point. It’s when this flaking becomes excessive that we run into issues. Whenever the right conditions take place, the skin replacement happens at a much higher rate, causing the dead skin to flake off and show up on clothing or other things. Usually, it takes about a month for skin cells to be shed – yet dandruff sufferers may end up losing cells within a week or less…quite the acceleration in skin cell loss.
